Episode 20: John Michael Cooper
Don’t let that bald head, body piercings, heavily tattooed exterior, the mug shot, or the fact that he likes to set wedding dresses on fire fool you. John Michael Cooper of AltF Photography in Las Vegas, NV is a pussy cat. In all seriousness, the “bad boy” wedding photographer image John has seems almost antithetical to the well spoken, deep-thinking, and down to earth guy I spoke to on the phone. He is admittedly very shy around people, and is a devoted husband, loving dad, and owner of cats. In this insightful interview, John talks about his childhood, his unique photography, being a dad and husband, and the low down on the infamous dress burning photo shoot.
