Episode 69: Marc Silber
One popular request we’ve gotten from our loyal listeners is for us to interview photographers from a wider variety of industries. We aim to please. I’m really excited about the list of guests we have on the show in the upcoming weeks (many masters from the portrait world, some up and coming commercial photogs, and more). And what better way to start off our newest first-run episode than with fine art photographer Marc Silber.
Marc has an amazing background in the photography world. As and educator and professional, he has a passion for passing on the craft, which he does through workshops, and his own video podcast. Marc has a close relationship with both the Ansel Adams family as well as with world renown photographer Annie Leibovitz (he Annie attended the San Francisco Arts Institute during the same time). He even has a one degree separation from Henri Cartier Bresson himself (known as the father of photojournalism). Marc comments on what he’s learned from these three giants in the world of photography, including what it takes to become a “giant” in the industry.
